The 51st Chromosome

A tattoo and photography journey into the future of never forgetting what humans are capable of....the new generation.

"202499 Never Again"

The last number tattooed on a human by a human at the Auschwitz death camps was 202499 (202,499).

 "Who's Next?"

Those who forget.....

202500 Never Forgets that it's the next human in line. Never Again 202500!!!

"The Lucky Ones"

Only the "Lucky" humans at Auschwitz had a number tattooed on them instead of being gassed, that number kept them alive. The physical presence and spirit of the tattoo "202500 Never Forget" keeps us alive by always remembering what was and what can be.

202500 Never Forgets and memorializes the millions and millions of humans that were slaughtered by the Nazis during the Shoa (Holocaust).

One Number Remembers

"202500 Never Forget" will be tattooed on each participating volunteer's left forearm. The tattoo sessions will take place at local tattoo shops prior to being photographed in front of the museums and memorials.

The tattoo and photo sessions will take place in Los Angeles, New York City, Miami and Jerusalem.

By Choice....Not Force

202500 Never Forget is not tattooed on us by force, it's by choice. It's OUR tattoo, OUR number, NOT the Nazi's. We choose One number, One color, One love....."202500 Never Forget", One tattoo for all of us.

202500 Never Forgets all humans

The number 202500 belongs to all humans.

The Auschwitz death camp themed '202500 Never Forget' tattoo is symbolic of and stands for remembering and never forgetting ALL past human atrocities.....and what humans should never do to other humans, including but not limited to the Armenian genocide, the Shoa, the Cambodian genocide, the Rwandan genocide, and the Darfur genocide.

"Every Jew is born with an invisible number tattooed on his arm, so he can never forget from where he came and to where he must never return"

The "Blueprint"

The Auschwitz death camp tattoos were tattooed with mostly blue or black ink, some of the ink eventually faded into a blue/gray/green mark. Using blue tattoo ink "202500 Never Forget" will be tattooed on each of the volunteering participant's left forearm, the blueprint on each arm represents a powerful reminder of the past, present, and potential future of evil's DNA.

The human flesh blueprint tattoos will be photographed with the Holocaust buildings in the background to illustrate the tattoo and building's shared haunting DNA. One blueprint explains the other blueprint's existence.
